Bolton Wanderers confirm Paddy Kenny signing

Bolton confirm the signing of former Leeds and QPR goalkeeper Paddy Kenny on a short-term contract.

Bolton Wanderers have confirmed the signing of experienced goalkeeper Paddy Kenny on a free transfer.

Manager Dougie Freedman revealed last week that the 36-year-old was close to agreeing a short-term deal with the Trotters after his release by Leeds United in June.

Kenny has now completed his move to the Reebok Stadium and could be included in the squad for Saturday's Championship trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, with Bolton number one Adam Bogdan having been ruled out for two months with a broken finger.

The seven-times capped Republic of Ireland international started his career at Bury and has previously played for Sheffield United and Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League.
