Blackpool interim player-manager Barry Ferguson has insisted that he will not sign players on loan unless they can play an important role.
The 36-year-old has brought seven players to Bloomfield Road since taking over from Paul Ince at the end of January.
Ferguson has not ruled out the possibility of adding to his squad further.
"I'm pretty happy with the squad I've got, we just need to see what next week brings," he told the Blackpool Gazette.
"I would like to add one or two, but there is a rule that you're only allowed five in the 18. I don't want to be bringing loan players in and leaving them out. It wouldn't be fair on them."
Blackpool currently sit 16th in the Championship.
