Blackpool manager Ian Holloway has said that the club are considering signing former Rangers midfielder Gregg Wylde on a free transfer.
The Scotland Under-21 international voluntarily left the SPL champions earlier this week to help ease their financial woes.
"We can't sign him this season," Holloway told the Blackpool Gazette. "He's one we are looking at for next.
"I've spoken to Barry Ferguson about him but I haven't watched him play myself yet.
"I'm told he's a good, young wide player, who can play on either wing. He couldn't play between now and the end of the season."
Aston Villa and Bolton Wanderers are just two of the clubs who are thought to be interested in the 20-year-old.
