Half-Time Report: Stephen Dobbie's strike gives Blackpool half-time lead

Stephen Dobbie strikes in the 23rd minute to give Blackpool a 1-0 lead at half time over Ipswich Town.

Stephen Dobbie's 23rd-minute strike has given Blackpool a 1-0 half-time lead over Ipswich Town.

Dobbie almost created a goal for his side in the second minute, but Ricardo Fuller's tame effort bobbled straight at Dean Gerken.

Ryan Tunnicliffe thought that he had given the away side a 20th-minute lead, but a number of Blackpool players managed to scramble the ball away.

Three minutes later, Dobbie gave the Seasiders the lead with a header from Bobby Grant's cross.

Grant almost doubled Blackpool's lead on the half-hour mark, but Gerken tipped the midfielder's volley over the bar.
