Birmingham City snap up David Cotterill from Doncaster Rovers

Birmingham City sign their eighth player of the summer by capturing David Cotterill on a free transfer from Doncaster Rovers.

Birmingham City have signed their eighth player of the summer by capturing David Cotterill on a free transfer from Doncaster Rovers.

The 26-year-old becomes the second player to leave Donny for St Andrew's following last week's signing of Mark Duffy.

Cotterill has signed a two-year deal with the Blues that will start when his contract with Rovers expires next week.

A Welsh international, Cotterill made 40 appearances last season in the Championship, scoring four goals.
