First-half goals from Neil Danns and Joe Mason have helped Bolton Wanderers to a 2-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers at the Keepmoat Stadium.
The visitors went ahead with just eight minutes on the clock courtesy of Danns, who managed to find the net following Alan Hutton's cut-back.
It was two soon after when Mason fired home his sixth goal in 12 appearances for the club following an angled ball into the area, to put Wanderers into a commanding early position.
Donny pulled one back almost immediately, however, when David Cotterill found the top corner of the net from a free kick to give his side a lifeline.
Dean Furman came close to levelling the contest shortly after the restart, only for David Wheater to slide in and deny the Rovers man a certain goal.
Doncaster felt they should have had a penalty when James Husband went down under the challenge of Medo on the hour, but the referee waved play on.
Jermain Beckford almost added a third late on, but his miss was not to matter as Bolton held out to take all three points.
