Besiktas to keep Manuel Fernandes, Hugo Almeida

Besiktas president Fikret Orman has insisted that wantaway duo Manuel Fernandes and Hugo Almeida will not be allowed to leave the club.

Fernandes and Almeida have both expressed a desire to leave the club in recent weeks, but Orman has refused to entertain any offers for the pair.

"Our coach [Samet Aybaba] will make the final decision on players who might leave the team, but he wants to hold on to Fernandes and Almeida, so we will most certainly keep them," Orman told AA.

Fernandes joined the Turkish club last summer, while Almeida joined in January 2011.
