Sheffield United have reportedly joined the race for Hamilton Academical youngster Lewis Latona ahead of the summer transfer window.
The 17-year-old has been brought through the academy system into the first-team thinking this season as he looks for his major break in senior football.
Latona has made a few appearances on the bench for Hamilton this term and even managed an 11-minute cameo during the 3-1 victory at Annan Athletic on April 6.
Despite being in the early years of his senior career, the midfielder has already won a piece of silverware, lifting the Scottish Challenge Cup in 2022-23.
After a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Hamilton will host Alloa Athletic in the second leg of their playoff match, looking to secure promotion to the Scottish Championship.
