Juventus have reportedly prevented France international Paul Pogba from attending Sunday's World Cup final.
The former Manchester United midfielder won the World Cup with France in 2018, but he has been sidelined since suffering a knee injury just weeks after rejoining Juventus in the summer.
Although Pogba has missed the 2022 World Cup, plans had been put in place for him to attend the final at the Lusail Stadium, where France will look to retain the trophy against Argentina.
However, according to The Mirror, Juventus have banned the 29-year-old from travelling to Qatar, as they are not keen for him to go on a long-haul flight whilst recovering from injury.
The report claims that Pogba wanted to link up with his national side, but the Italian giants do not want to risk any setbacks with his recovery currently behind schedule.
Lucas Hernandez finds himself in a similar situation after he was forced to leave the World Cup when he picked up an injury in France's opening game, and Bayern Munich will prevent him from returning to Qatar for the final.
Meanwhile, a recent report claimed that Karim Benzema - who picked up a thigh injury on the eve of the tournament - will not attend the final.
