Xabi Alonso has admitted that he does not know if he will be a Bayern Munich player next season.
The 34-year-old, who joined the Bavarians from Real Madrid in 2014, is contracted to the Allianz Arena until next summer.
Despite having admitted that he and his family are "happy" in Munich, Alonso conceded that his future is currently uncertain.
"At the moment I am focused on the season and Bayern. I don't know what is going to happen in [the] future, but hopefully I will know soon. My family and I are feeling very comfortable in Munich and we are happy here," he told Goal.com.
The midfielder has recently been linked with a switch back to Liverpool, where he played between 2004 and 2009.
