Wolfsburg to sign Dante from Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich confirm that Brazilian centre-back Dante will join Bundesliga rivals Wolfsburg.

Bayern Munich have announced that defender Dante will join Wolfsburg.

The 31-year-old Brazilian had been linked with a move away from the Allianz Arena in recent days, with Premier League side Leicester City reportedly the front-runners.

However, the Bavarians have confirmed via Twitter that their Bundesliga rivals - who finished second behind them last term - have won the race.

The centre-back joined Bayern from Borussia Monchengladbach in 2012 and enjoyed a trophy-laden stint, winning three Bundesliga titles, two DFB-Pokals and a Champions League in 2013.ID:242801: cacheID:242801:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1673:
