Midfielder Renato Sanches reveals that he wants to leave Bayern Munich before the end of the summer transfer window.

Midfielder Renato Sanches has revealed that he wants to leave Bayern Munich due to a lack of minutes in the first team.

Despite costing £60m in July 2016, the 21-year-old has only made a total of 10 starts in the Bundesliga, with a further 25 coming from the substitutes' bench.

The latest of those outings came during the 2-2 draw with Hertha Berlin on Friday night, leading to the Portugal international to vent his frustration with his current role.

Sanches told Sport1: "Five minutes is not enough. The situation is not good for me, this is the second time I have wanted to leave the club and they have not let me go."

Chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has insisted that there are no plans to sell Sanches during the current transfer window.
