Team News: Arjen Robben, Mario Mandzukic left out by Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich ring the changes for this afternoon's Bundesliga clash with Hoffenheim.

Bayern Munich have decided to leave winger Arjen Robben out of the starting XI to face Hoffenheim this afternoon.

Robben scored the winner in midweek as Bayern beat Borussia Dortmund in the DFB-Pokal, but that goal has not proved enough to keep the Dutchman in the Bayern side.

Xherdan Shaqiri comes in to play out wide, with Mario Gomez also replacing Mario Mandzukic in attack.

Javi Martinez and Toni Kroos are also left out as Bayern coach Jupp Heynckes shuffles his pack for a third match in seven days.

Hoffenheim decide to stick with Heurelho Gomes in goal as they host the Bundesliga leaders.

Bayern: Starke, Lahm, Boateng, Dante, Alaba, Martinez, Schweinsteiger, Muller, Shaqiri, Ribery, Gomez

Hoffenheim: Gomes, Ochs, Abraham, Vestergaard, Johnson, Schrock, Williams, Weis, Usami, De Camargo, Volland
