Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Bayern Munich vs. RB Leipzig

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Bundesliga fixtures, including Bayern Munich vs. RB Leipzig.

Union Berlin vs. Heidenheim (Saturday, 2.30pm)

A much-improved Union Berlin side welcome Heidenheim to the German capital in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

An excellent set of results since Nenad Bjelica took charge has quickly ended Union's fears of facing relegation after a woeful start to the season under Urs Fischer.

We say: Union Berlin 1-1 Heidenheim

Heidenheim have a superb record against Union, with most of their meetings coming in the second-tier at the end of the 2010s, winning six of the previous nine - losing only once.

Union are back in form though and have proved tough to beat since Bjelica took over, and this could be a very cagey affair between two sides who may be satisfied with a point.

Borussia M'bach vs. VfL Bochum (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Fresh off the back of their famous win last weekend, VfL Bochum make the short trip across North Rhine-Westphalia to face Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga on Saturday.

Bochum beat reigning champions Bayern Munich 3-2 on Sunday in a result that may have huge implications for the title race, while also moving them clear of the bottom three.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 1-1 VfL Bochum

Gladbach's goals have dried up, and with it, so have their results, and a win is a must here if they want to ease fears of relegation.

Bochum will be on a high though after last weekend's result and will fancy their chances of another result in hopes of pushing for the top seven.

Werder Bremen vs. Darmstadt (Saturday, 2.30pm)

In-form Werder Bremen welcome the Bundesliga's bottom club SV Darmstadt 98 to the Weserstadion on Saturday afternoon.

With the two clubs at complete opposite ends of the form table, the hosts will be expectant of another victory against a side destined for relegation.

We say: Werder Bremen 3-0 SV Darmstadt 98

A run of 15 games without a win is set to continue here for Darmstadt unless there is a huge shock, given Werder's fine recent form.

Four wins from five have moved the hosts into European contention, and they are big favourites to strengthen their charge for the top six here.

Stuttgart vs. FC Koln (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Two Bundesliga teams at opposite ends of the table do battle at the MHPArena on Saturday as top-four hopefuls Stuttgart play host to relegation-threatened FC Koln.

The Billy Goats are seeking revenge after they suffered a 2-0 home defeat to Die Roten in the reverse fixture five months ago.

We say: Stuttgart 2-0 FC Koln

It is difficult to back against an in-form Stuttgart side on home soil, but Koln cannot be entirely discounted as they are fighting for their lives at the wrong end of the table and can ill-afford to drop too many more points.

Nevertheless, Die Roten – the third-highest scorers in the Bundesliga – should have few problems breaching the backline of a Koln outfit, whose well-documented struggles in front of goal could let them down once again on Saturday.

Bayern vs. RB Leipzig (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich welcome top-four hopefuls RB Leipzig to the Allianz Arena on Saturday for their first match since confirming that Thomas Tuchel will vacate his post as head coach in the summer.

The two teams meet for the first time since September last year when goals from Leroy Sane and Harry Kane helped the Bavarian giants come from two goals down at half time to rescue a 2-2 draw at the Red Bull Arena.

We say: Bayern Munich 2-2 RB Leipzig

Bayern Munich can ill-afford any more slip-ups in the Bundesliga if they are to keep their slim hopes of retaining the title alive, but that is easier said than done against a Leipzig outfit who have fared well against the Bavarians in recent meetings.

Indeed, Die Roten Bullen are no pushovers for Bayern, and taking into account the contrasting moods within the two camps, we believe the visitors will find a way to frustrate the hosts and claim a share of the spoils in an entertaining score draw.
