Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery has slammed Pep Guardiola for his rotation policy at the club.
Since winning the Bundesliga title at the end of March, the Bavarians have chosen to leave out key players in order to focus on the Champions League and the German Cup.
Ribery has admitted that it is a situation he is not used to and feels that his form and fitness has suffered.
"Sometimes you were playing, sometimes you were on the bench and sometimes you were just left at home," he said on Kicker.
"That was a new situation for all of us. Personally, I need to be playing games. I need five or six games before maybe taking a break, but not after just one game."
Bayern face Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup final on Saturday evening.
