Bayern Munich have said that they are ready to offer manager Pep Guardiola a new contract, if the Spaniard decides to extend his stay with the German champions.
The former Barcelona coach's current deal runs out in June 2016. However, Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has suggested that an offer will be available to Guardiola if he wants it.
Rummenigge is quoted by The AP as saying: "Pep is not a person who values an early extension, but I've already informed him that we are ready any time he feels like it.
"Pep is a blessing for Bayern. I'll do everything I can to ensure this coach and person stays as long as possible in Munich."
The Bundesliga leaders lost 3-2 away to Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday.
