Bayern Munich's Pep Guardiola walks out of press conference over England rumours

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola walks out of a press conference after being asked if he would be interested in taking the England job.

Bayern Munich boss Pep Guardiola ended a press conference abruptly on Friday after he was drawn on rumours linking him with the England managerial job.

The Spaniard, whose contract with the Bundesliga giants expires at the end of the season, is believed to have been targeted by the Football Association as they prepare for Roy Hodgson's departure.

The current Three Lions boss is expected to leave his post at the end of next summer's European Championships when his contract comes to an end.

Guardiola, who has also been linked with a switch to Manchester City, is said to be at the top of the FA's wanted list, but when asked about the speculation in today's press conference, the 44-year-old walked out after saying: "Oh come on, I'm coach of Bayern Munich. Many thanks and auf wiedersehen."

Prior to that, Guardiola brushed past an enquiry about his future by telling reporters: "Next question please."

The Spaniard has won two league titles with Bayern since taking over at the Allianz Arena in 2013.
