England will be sweating over the fitness of Harry Kane after the striker was forced off injured during Bayern Munich's Bundesliga clash with SV Darmstadt 98 on Saturday afternoon.
The 30-year-old provided a goal and an assist in Bayern's 5-2 win, but he was forced off in the 82nd minute of the contest after sliding into the post.
Kane received treatment from the team's medical department on the field before it was decided that he would have to be substituted.
The centre-forward is due to link up with the England squad next week for the friendlies with Brazil and Belgium on March 23 and March 26 respectively.
However, Bayern head coach Thomas Tuchel revealed after the match that Kane had twisted his ankle in the collision, which will put his involvement for England in doubt.

"He collided with the post and twisted his ankle a bit - he had his ankle iced. There's still no diagnosis, we have to wait. I hope it's nothing bad," Tuchel told reporters.
Kane took to social media after the match and made no mention of the injury.
"Proud to break a Bundesliga record but more importantly another good win," he wrote on X, having moved onto 31 Bundesliga goals, more than any other player in their first season in Germany's top flight.
Kane has now netted 37 times and registered 12 times in 35 appearances for Bayern, with the Three Lions captain enjoying an excellent first campaign with the Munich giants.

Bayern remain second in the Bundesliga table, seven points behind leaders Bayer Leverkusen, who now have a game in hand.
Meanwhile, the German champions have been drawn against Arsenal in the quarter-finals of the Champions League, which will see Kane head back to North London.
Bayern are not in action again until March 30 against Borussia Dortmund, and it remains to be seen whether Kane is fit for that encounter, with the forward set to undergo tests on his injury.
Journalist Patrick Strasser reports Kane as saying his leg was "a little bit painful" when he was leaving the stadium on Saturday afternoon.
