Barnsley striker Craig Davies could be absent until December with a hamstring injury.

Barnsley manager Keith Hill has revealed that striker Craig Davies could be out for "two to six weeks" with a hamstring injury.

Davies was forced off with the problem in the final minute of the club's 1-0 victory at Charlton Athletic but Hill has revealed that he will wait for the scan results of the injury before he decides whether to sign a replacement.

Hill told BBC Radio Sheffield: "It could be anything between two to six weeks.

"We will wait for the results of the scan and then we will assess the options we have going into the weekend's game."

Davies has scored eight goals for Barnsley this season.
