Victor Valdes has revealed that he expects Cesc Fabregas to join him at Barcelona this summer.
The Spanish champions, who have been in pursuit of Fabregas for over 12 months, are believed to have had two bids rejected by Arsenal last month.
The Gunners are demanding £40m for the central midfielder but Valdes expects that a deal will be agreed soon.
"We want to see Cesc in the Barca dressing room soon," the goalkeeper told The People.
"The players want him to come because he is a big friend and an extraordinary footballer."
World Cup winner Fabregas began his career at Barca before switching to Arsenal in 2003.
