Paris Saint-Germain 'rejected Juventus bid for Neymar'

Juventus reportedly made an attempt to sign Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal involving Paulo Dybala over the transfer window.

Paris Saint-Germain reportedly rejected an approach from Juventus to sign Neymar in a deal involving Paulo Dybala this summer.

Neymar, who joined PSG for a world record £198m in 2017, enthusiastically pushed for a move away from the Parc des Princes throughout the transfer window.

Barcelona, his former club, worked hard to complete a deal for the Brazilian, but no move materialised as PSG refused to budge on their £200m valuation.

According to The Mirror, Juventus waded into the race to sign Neymar by tabling an offer worth £100m plus the services of Dybala.

Neymar, whose relationship with PSG has suffered immensely from the saga, is said to have been left feeling 'sad and deeply angry' after the move fell through.

Reports have suggested that Barcelona will make another approach next summer for Neymar, who they view as a 'strategic signing'.
