Barcelona have confirmed that goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto will leave the club when his contract expires this summer.
Pinto has been with the Catalan giants since joining from Celta Vigo in 2008, although he has spent much of his time at the Camp Nou as backup to first choice Victor Valdes.
The 38-year-old filled in for the injured Valdes during the second half of the 2013-14 season as Barcelona fell agonisingly short of clinching the Primera Division title.
However, despite lingering uncertainty over the future of Valdes, the club have now confirmed that they will not be renewing Pinto's contract.
Instead, Barca have announced the signing of Marc-Andre ter Stegen from Borussia Monchengladbach, while also appointing Luis Enrique as their new manager.
Pinto won four league titles, two Copa del Reys and two Champions Leagues during his six-year stint with the club.
