Barcelona have confirmed the signing of German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The 22-year-old has been linked with a move to the Catalan giants for several months and now the La Liga outfit have confirmed the news.
Writing on their Twitter page moments after confirming Luis Enrique as their new manager, the club said: "The board also announced the signing of Marc-Andre ter Stegen."
Ter Stegen, currently of Borussia Monchengladbach, will replace Victor Valdes as the club's number one, while veteran back-up Jose Manuel Pinto has not been offered a new deal at the Camp Nou.
Ter Stegen has played in every Bundesliga game for Monchengladbach in the last three seasons and also has four international caps with Germany.
Barca today also tied down four-time Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi on a new long-term contract.
