Juventus are reportedly still looking to finalise a deal for Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic before the end of the summer transfer window.
While Rakitic has been heavily linked with an exit from Camp Nou, there have been suggestions that the Croatia international would prefer to fight for his place at the Catalan giants.
Despite that seemingly remaining the case, Sport claims that Juventus are persisting with their attempts to sign the player within the next week.
The reports says, however, that Juventus must also part ways with one of their current midfielders in order to accommodate the arrival of the 31-year-old.
Emre Can, who only moved to Turin last year, could be that player, with a number of top European clubs continuing to monitor the situation.
