Barcelona 'told to pay £143m for Richarlison'

Barcelona will have to pay £143m if they wish to sign Everton forward Richarlison this summer, according to a report.

Barcelona have reportedly been informed that they will have to pay £143m if they wish to sign Everton forward Richarlison during this summer's transfer window.

The Catalan giants were linked with the Brazil international in January and are still believed to have an interest in his services ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

According to The Mirror, though, Everton value the South American at £143m and are not prepared to sell him for under that figure in the current market.

The 23-year-old enjoyed a productive 2019-20 campaign for the Toffees, scoring 15 times and providing four assists in 41 appearances in all competitions.

Richarlison still has four years left to run on his contract at Goodison Park, meanwhile, placing Carlo Ancelotti's side in a strong position when it comes to any potential negotiations.

Barca are believed to be searching for a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
