Barcelona have reportedly agreed a contract with forward Luka Jovic and will now look to negotiate a transfer figure with Benfica.
Kevin-Price Boateng was signed on loan in January to act as back-up to Luis Suarez, with Munir El Haddadi leaving Camp Nou during the winter transfer window.
Boateng is unlikely to stay beyond the end of the season, however, and it is thought that Barcelona will prioritise signing a new striker during this summer's transfer window.
According to Marca, the Spanish champions have reached an agreement with Jovic but must now discuss a price with the 21-year-old's Portuguese club.
Jovic joined Benfica from Red Star Belgrade in 2016, but has spent the last two seasons on loan with Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, scoring 28 times in 54 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
This term, the forward has found the back of the net on 19 occasions in 27 appearances in all competitions.
