Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu has reportedly offered Atletico Madrid the opportunity to swap Joao Felix with their former player Antoine Griezmann.
After a successful spell at Atletico, Griezmann made the switch to Camp Nou last summer, only to endure a disappointing first campaign with the Catalan giants.
The reaction to the Frenchman's poor form has played a minor part in the disarray both on and off the pitch, which has also contributed to Lionel Messi requesting an exit from his long-term club.
According to Marca, Bartomeu attempted to resolve the situation earlier this month by making contact with Atletico.
However, despite being given the chance to re-sign arguably their best player of the last decade, Atletico have no interest in parting ways with Portugal international Felix.
Griezmann is now expected to play a key role under recently-appointed head coach Ronald Koeman.
