Manchester City are reportedly ready to offer Barcelona a mammoth player-plus-cash deal for Lionel Messi, who is seeking a move away from the Catalan giants.
On Tuesday evening, it was confirmed that Messi has handed in a transfer request to the club where he has amassed 634 goals from 731 appearances in all competitions.
While there is uncertainty surrounding Messi's contract and release clause situation, City are one of the few clubs who possess the financial firepower needed to secure the six time Ballon d'Or winner's signature.
According to Sport, Pep Guardiola is desperate to reunite with the prolific Argentine and is ready to throw in Bernardo Silva, Gabriel Jesus and Eric Garcia as part of a deal.
The report claims that the Citizens will also offer £89.5m to Barca as well as the trio of players, an offer that the Catalan giants may entertain as they are currently eyeing up replacements for Luis Suarez - and Jesus would fit the bill.
Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be keeping a close eye on developments.
