The first agent of Barcelona attacker Lionel Messi has claimed that the Argentine will return to youth club Newell's Old Boys before hanging up his boots.
Messi, 28, represented Newell's between 1994 and 2000, before making the move to Barcelona in 2001.
During his time at Camp Nou, the forward has scored 453 goals in 531 appearances and picked up eight La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies along the way.
Horacio Gaggioli, however, who was the first agent of Messi, is "absolutely convinced" that the attacker will return to his first club at some point in the future.
"I'm absolutely convinced this will happen. He will be back to play for Newell's Old Boys, from Rosario," Gaggioli told Goal.com.
Messi has previously been linked with both Manchester City and Manchester United.
