The Argentine, along with Neymar, was given an extended rest period after the Copa America, but he has returned to training in recent days and starts tonight alongside Luis Suarez.

Thomas Vermaelen starts at centre-back for the Champions League winners, while there are also starts for Ivan Rakitic, Dani Alves and Javier Mascherano.

Roma have named new goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny in their starting XI, while Mattia Destro starts upfront alongside Gervinho.
