Alexis Sanchez refusing to get carried away

Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez plays down his impressive start to the season.

Barcelona forward Alexis Sanchez has insisted that he will not get carried away with his impressive start to the season.

The 24-year-old has scored seven times in nine league games for his club this season, while he netted twice in Chile's 2-0 win over England last week.

"I still have my feet on the ground, because when you do things badly, nobody remembers you," Sanchez told reporters at a press conference.

"I train game by game and just want to go on day by day. I am 24 and I have much to still improve.

"I want to continue having fund in the field and beyond that to win titles with Barcelona and do the best at the World Cup."

Sanchez joined Barcelona from Udinese in 2011.
