Cesc Fabregas pleased with three points

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas praises his side following their 3-0 win over Celta Vigo on Tuesday.

Barcelona midfielder Cesc Fabregas has revealed his delight after his side recorded a 3-0 win over Celta Vigo on Tuesday evening.

The Spanish international, who scored twice in Vigo, also claimed that "these three points are the ones you need at the end of the season".

"It's been a while since I've scored and I regretted not getting on the scoresheet against Osasuna. It's always better to score," Fabregas told reporters at a press conference.

"We're pleased. The team played a good and complete game, we had a dip in form in the first half but in the second we played well.

"We knew that the Clasico was important because of what it represents, but later we had to come here, on Tuesday and play at 10pm and it seems as though it's not as important. These three points are the ones you need at the end of the season."

Barcelona return to action at home to Espanyol on Friday.
