New Barcelona signing Arda Turan has admitted that it will be frustrating for him not to be able to play for the club until January.
The 28-year-old completed his move to the La Liga giants from Atletico Madrid on Monday, but due to a transfer ban imposed by FIFA for breaching rules over the signings of underage players, he will not be able to play an official match for the next six months.
"It's going to be hard not playing for six months but the important thing is that I will play for Barca," Turan said in an interview with Spanish radio.
"I will work until I am able to make my debut in January and I will help the team to win all the trophies."
Barcelona manager Luis Enrique has reportedly ruled out sending Turan on loan until January.
