Jordi Alba: 'I'll be back in two weeks'

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba says that he will be available for selection in 'two weeks'.

Barcelona defender Jordi Alba has revealed that he will be available for selection in 'two weeks' following an injury-plagued season.

The full-back has not played for the Spanish champions since October due to a succession of strains, but he is expected to return to first-team training later this week.

"I've had a pretty bad time, in my career before I have never been injured," Alba told reporters at a press conference.

"And now I have had one for three weeks and another for six... and now I can see the light. I feel better and in a week-and-a-half or two, I will have recovered."

Alba joined Barcelona from Valencia in 2012.
