Barcelona have been hit with an injury blow in the international break, as Sergino Dest was withdrawn during USA's clash with Canada on Sunday.
The right-back started the game but quickly felt pain in his foot, and he was brought off just before the break as a precaution.
Dest joined Barcelona from Ajax in 2020 and has already made 44 appearances for the Catalan giants, while also starting two of their three La Liga games so far this season.
The 20-year-old's scare follows the Blaugrana's sale of right-back Emerson Royal to Tottenham Hotspur on Deadline Day, while according to Marca, Sergi Roberto could also face a spell on the sidelines after feeling discomfort in Barca's recent La Liga clash with Getafe.
Such news would leave Oscar Mingueza as the only fit member of the senior squad to occupy the spot on the right-hand side of the back four, should Dest be ruled out of their Champions League tie with Bayern Munich next Tuesday.
