Barcelona team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Celta Vigo

Sports Mole rounds up Barcelona's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's La Liga clash with Celta Vigo.

Barcelona will be looking to reclaim first position in La Liga when they head to Celta Vigo on Saturday.

The Spanish champions have fallen behind Real Madrid at the top of the table, although they are level on points with Los Blancos and therefore a point would be enough to return to the summit this weekend.

Quique Setien's side, who beat Athletic Bilbao 1-0 on Tuesday, will be determined to secure all three points against Celta, though, ahead of a tricky home game against Atletico Madrid next week.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Barca's latest injury and suspension news.

Ousmane Dembele

Status: Out
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: Unknown

Dembele has struggled with injuries throughout the season, making just five La Liga appearances and nine in all competitions. The Frenchman has been out since the end of November with his latest hamstring issue, and he will not be able to return for the Spanish champions until next season.

Sergi Roberto

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Rib
Possible return date: June 27 (vs. Celta)

Roberto has missed Barca's last two games with a rib injury, but the right-back is still undertaking individual sessions and could be available for the clash with Celta.

Frenkie de Jong

Status: Out
Type of injury: Calf
Possible return date: July 7 (vs. Espanyol)

De Jong is expected to miss Barca's next three league matches as he continues to battle a calf problem. The Netherlands international could return against Espanyol on July 7, although it remains to be seen how his recovery progresses over the next couple of weeks.
