Spain midfielder Andres Iniesta has said that he sees some similarities between Euro 2012 opponents France and club side Barcelona.
Les Bleus boss Laurent Blanc, who spent one season of his career at Camp Nou, will lead his side against the Spaniards this weekend with a spot in the semi-finals at stake.
"France have a strong team," Iniesta told France Football. "They have strong and technically gifted players.
"In some phases of play, they remind me of Barca. It is clear they'll try to fight for control of the ball."
Spain will meet France in the Donbass Arena in Donetsk.
