Pedri is expected to be handed a start for Barcelona in Tuesday's Champions League quarter-final second leg with the French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The Spain international has made two substitute appearances since recovering from a thigh problem, including featuring off the bench in last week's 3-2 success for Xavi's side in the first leg.
Pedri was also used off the bench against Cadiz in La Liga on Saturday, but he is now set to come into the XI, while Frenkie de Jong has also had no reaction to a recent ankle problem, and the Netherlands international will also be in the side on Tuesday night.
Barcelona will be without the services of four players against PSG, with Gavi and Alejandro Balde remaining long-term absentees due to injury, while Andreas Christensen, who hit the winner in the first leg, is suspended alongside Sergi Roberto.
Joao Cancelo, Inigo Martinez and Robert Lewandowski will all be back in the squad, having been suspended for the league contest with Cadiz last time out.
Raphinha is certain to start in the final third following his brace in the first leg, while 16-year-old Lamine Yamal should be given the nod on the opposite side.
Ilkay Gundogan and Ronald Araujo were rested against Cadiz but will return to the side here, while Jules Kounde is also set to be back in the XI at right-back.
Pau Cubarsi has become a starting centre-back due to his incredible performances, and the 17-year-old will continue in the team against PSG in the European affair.
Barcelona possible starting lineup: Ter Stegen; Kounde, Araujo, Cubarsi, Cancelo; Pedri, Gundogan, F de Jong; Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha
