Ivan Rakitic urges Barcelona to kick on

Ivan Rakitic throws down the gauntlet to treble-winning Barcelona to repeat their success in the 2015-16 season after their Champions League final win over Juventus.

Ivan Rakitic believes that Barcelona's treble-clinching 3-1 win over Juventus in the Champions League final has only intensified the team's hunger to repeat the feat next season.

The Catalans picked up their third trophy of the 2014-15 campaign in Berlin last night as goals from Rakitic, Luis Suarez and Neymar secured them victory at Olympiastadion.

However, the Croatian midfielder, a summer signing from Sevilla, wants the Blaugrana to kick on and hopes that they can emulate the success next time around.

"I hope we don't stop here, and next year there's more to win and we want more," he told Sky Sports News.

Coach Luis Enrique, who has been linked with a summer exit despite his achievements, refused to comment on his future afterwards.
