Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Atletico Madrid defender Silvio for an undisclosed fee.
The 28-year-old Portugal international has penned a one-year deal with the Championship club with the option of a second year.
Silvio, who has eight caps for the Euro 2016 champions, revealed the news on Facebook, saying: "Wolverhampton is going to be my new home.
"I have decided to terminate the contract with Atletico Madrid and I decided to grab this opportunity and this new project in this great club!"
Silvio is the second Portuguese player to join the club this week after winger Helder Costa joined from Benfica.
