Leicester City have not received an offer from Atletico Madrid for defender Ben Chilwell, according to a report.

Atletico Madrid have reportedly not made an offer for Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell despite a number of Spanish publications claiming that a bid had arrived from the Wanda Metropolitano.

Diego Simeone's side are said to have made a £71m offer for Chilwell as the La Liga giants look for a new left-back.

However, according to LeicestershireLive, the Foxes have not received a bid from Diego Simeone's side, who have sold Lucas Hernandez to Bayern Munich and are also expected to lose Filipe Luis this summer.

The England international was in fine form for Leicester during the 2018-19 campaign - contributing five assists in 36 Premier League appearances from left-back.

Chilwell, who has also been linked with a move to Manchester City, only penned a new long-term deal at the King Power Stadium in October 2018.
