Atletico Madrid confirm signing of Stefan Savic from Fiorentina

Atletico Madrid have confirmed the arrival of Stefan Savic from Fiorentina on a five-year deal.

The 24-year-old confirmed on Monday shortly after he arrived in the Spanish capital that he was on the verge of sealing a transfer to the La Liga side.

Atletico have now announced via Twitter that the former Manchester City player has passed a medical and is officially a member of the squad.

Reports have claimed that Atletico paid around £8m for the defender.
