Preview: Getafe vs. Atletico Madrid

Sports Mole previews Atletico Madrid's trip to Getafe in La Liga.

Getafe will go into their fixture with Atletico Madrid in confident mood after putting together an unbeaten run of three games in La Liga.

Cosmin Contra's side recorded a 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad last weekend to move into eighth place but they have only scored four times in five games, which will be a concern to the Romanian coach.

The Deep Blues, who are without Alvaro Arroyo and Alvaro Vasquez through knee and shoulder injuries respectively, could name an unchanged starting lineup.

Last year's champions Atletico have enjoyed a superb week on the domestic and European front with wins over Espanyol and Malmo respectively.

Los Rojiblancos comfortably saw off Espanyol by a 2-0 scoreline before they thrashed Malmo 5-0 in the Champions League.

Striker Mario Mandzukic netted in both games but coach Diego Simeone will be expecting more from the Croatian, with the former Bayern Munich man having scored just two goals in La Liga this campaign.

Simeone's team are likely to be unchanged as they look to make ground on Real Madrid and Barcelona.
