Gabi 'out for two weeks'

Atletico Madrid skipper Gabi is ruled out for the next two weeks with a knee injury.

Atletico Madrid skipper Gabi will miss the next two weeks with a knee injury that he suffered in Sunday's 2-1 win over Celta Vigo.

The 30-year-old, who damaged his knee in the second half of the La Liga clash, underwent tests on Monday morning that confirmed a sprain of the joint.

An exact recovery time has not been set by his club, but it is believed that the Spaniard will be unavailable for the next two weeks.

Gabi has been a key member of an Atletico side that have won all eight of their La Liga matches thus far this season.
