Iker Muniain is reportedly close to signing a new three-year contract with Athletic Bilbao.
The 21-year-old, who made his first-team debut for Bilbao in 2009, proved to be a key performer as his side finished fourth in La Liga last term.
However, the Spaniard's current deal expires next summer, with a number of European clubs believed to be monitoring proceedings.
According to AS, Muniain's agent has been locked in talks over the last couple of weeks, with both parties keen for the extension to be signed before pre-season training begins in July.
Muniain has been with Bilbao since 2005.
