Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert is adamant that there is "no chance" of striker Christian Benteke being sold this month.
Tottenham Hotspur are among those reportedly tracking the 24-year-old, who has netted twice in 13 Premier League starts.
The Villans have scored just 11 times in 22 league outings and sit three points off the relegation zone.
With Benteke one of just three fit forward players in their squad, Lambert says that owner Randy Lerner cannot afford to entertain any bids for the hitman.
"No chance. Listen, there is no way and I am pretty sure Randy will be totally fine," he told Sky Sports News.
Benteke's contract expires in 2017.
