Aston Villa are reportedly the favourites to sign Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic during the January transfer window.
The Serbia international has scored 15 goals in 18 Championship appearances for Fulham this season, with the west London club currently sitting in third position.
According to the Birmingham Mail, Villa are now favourites with the bookmakers to sign Mitrovic with first choice centre-forward Wesley having only scored four times in the Premier League so far this season.
The report states that with Jonathan Kodjia and Keinan Davis suffering from injury problems, Villa could be on the lookout for a new striker.
Villa currently sit in 15th place in the Premier League, three points clear of the relegation zone.
Villa did fight back to secure a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford against Manchester United on Sunday though, with goals from Jack Grealish and Tyrone Mings in either half earning them a valuable point.
