Ron Vlaar eyeing return to form against Queens Park Rangers

Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar believes that his side need to get back to winning ways in their Premier League clash against Queens Park Rangers.

Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar has insisted that his side have to get back to winning ways in their Premier League clash against Queens Park Rangers later today.

Paul Lambert's side had an excellent start to the season as they claimed 10 points from their opening four matches, but have since lost their last four games on the bounce.

Vlaar told the club's official website: "We are more solid. We are stronger as a team. But we have to show that. We have to work really hard. I have all the confidence that we can do a lot better this season.

"It's another massive game for us against QPR. They played a great game against Liverpool. They were so unlucky not to win the game. But we have to look to ourselves.

"It's a game we want to win. And we go there to get three points. Obviously that's what they want as well. But we must look to ourselves and try to get everything out of that game."

Villa are 15th in the Premier League ahead of their clash with QPR at Loftus Road.
