Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has revealed that striker Libor Kozak is slowly making his way back to fitness from a broken leg.
The 25-year-old sustained the injury in January 2014 in a training ground tackle with teammate Ciaran Clark, and the Scot has admitted that the striker is starting to show signs of progress after over a year on the sidelines.
"His rehab has gone really well and he's still got a wee bit of the way to go but he is getting there," Lambert told reporters.
"He is running. We need to sit and discuss moving on to ball work but for the horrific break it was, he is doing well.
"A lot will depend on his healing, how he is. We have to wait and be guided by him and the medical people on how he is doing."
Villa face off against Bournemouth in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
