Victor Valdes has travelled to Monaco for a medical with the Ligue 1 side and could complete his move from Barcelona this afternoon, according to reports.
The Spanish international goalkeeper has repeatedly stated his intention to leave the Camp Nou this summer, despite having a year to run on his current contract.
According to Marca, the 31-year-old arrived in Monaco last night along with Radamel Falcao after Claudio Ranieri's side agreed a fee for both La Liga players last weekend.
Valdes will cost around £10m and sign on a long-term contract, while Falcao will also undergo a medical in the principality today ahead of a £51m move from Atletico Madrid.
Ambitious Monaco have already secured the services of James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho this summer as their spending spree under Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev gathers pace.
